We can only realise our ambition by working together with like-minded organisations that encourage schools to engage in specific environmental topics. Keep Britain Tidy are keen to build partnerships which create new resources and National Calls to Action around the ten Eco-Schools topics, through topic sponsorship. In celebration of 25 years of Eco-Schools, TV presenter and outdoor enthusiast,
Julia Bradbury, alongside her website The Outdoor Guide, were inspired by our
Eco-Schools programme and topics to create a bespoke package of outdoor gear to help you encourage your pupils to go outside and stay outside in all weathers. We know it is fundamental for their health, learning development and wellbeing, which are all an important part of the Ofsted directives.
Each pack includes:
- Wellington boots (size range 10+)
- Socks (size range 8-11, 12-2 & 3-6)
- Hooded Waterproof jacket and trousers (age range 6 – 12 years old)

People’s Postcode Lottery
Thanks to support from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery we have been able to act upon the feedback of our schools. Redesigning the Eco-Schools website, restructuring the Seven Step pathway and creating age specific resources will all further support our hard working schools on their journey to the international Eco-Schools Green Flag award and beyond. Energy: The Pod
The Pod runs the national campaigns; Switch-Off Fortnight, Waste Week and What’s under your feet, these campaigns help the whole school, parents and the local community engage with important environmental messages. Pioneers of eco-school uniforms made from recycled polyester plastic bottles since 2012, David Luke have been our active Litter topic sponsor for many years.
