Eco-Schools National Award Ceremony

Welcome to the Eco-Schools National Award Ceremony pages, designed to recognise and reward the most inspirational schools and individuals fighting climate change throughout England.

On the 12th December 2019, Eco-Schools England were delighted to host the first National Award Ceremony in our 25 year history. Taking place at the world-famous Etihad Stadium in Manchester and hosted by one of TV’s best known personalities, wildlife presenter and adventurer Steve Backshall, 15 schools attended and were rewarded for their amazing Eco-Schools work. You can read (and be inspired by) their stories by clicking the icons in the sidebar (pc users) or on winners above (phone users).

After the success of our 2019 event...

The Eco-Schools team knew that there are too many amazing things happening in schools around England to be ignored, so we are delighted to announce that we have now included an option to apply for an Eco-Schools National Award in the Bonus Educational Questions section on the Eco-Schools Green Flag online application form! We can’t wait to announce our next award winners in 2022!

Thank You

Lee, Francis, Karyn and Shona (The Eco-Schools team)
