A youth led movement creating huge environmental benefits.
During a challenging year, thousands of teachers have committed time and resource to supporting pupils to deliver environmental action through the Eco-Schools programme. They have shown pupils that they are committed to their future and that they believe in youth action.
We thank them.
In turn, pupils have been inspirational, resulting in Eco-Schools’ biggest year yet. This report is once again testament to a nation of incredible young people. No doubt inspired by the frequent images of protest and the impacts of devastating, worldwide climate change, they have delivered thousands of projects. Their collective action has become a movement. They are creating huge environmental benefit. As we head towards a defining period in the history of our planet, their actions must inspire us all to follow suit.
