Air pollution is the single biggest environmental health risk in the UK. Young people are especially vulnerable to its effects and these pollutants also contribute to climate change. GAP’s Clean Air Day is the UK’s largest air pollution campaign. Usually in June, the day encourages schools to learn about the impacts of air pollution, take action by changing the way they travel, and contact local politicians to promote clean air measures.
