Cut Your Carbon
Eco-Schools is excited to launch Cut Your Carbon; a free, month-long carbon-cutting challenge, involving nine simple, everyday challenges that pupils can complete at home with their families.
The campaign is a great way for young people and their families to learn more about the carbon emissions they create in everyday life, whilst empowering them to take action, and become climate leaders.
Cut Your Carbon takes place throughout November and alongside the nine challenges, there are plenty of ways for pupils, their families, and teachers to get involved, including:
- Virtual talks from leading teachers, authors, and young environmentalists.
- Social media takeovers and challenges.
- A prize draw for those who submit their results.
At the end of the campaign, we’ll be celebrating the total amount of carbon pupils and their families have saved throughout the month.
